Course and Travel Information

COURSE AND PROGRAMME INFORMATION
Whilst selecting and attending your relevant programme is of utmost importance, you should use this time to broaden your horizon in ALL aspects of personal development, not merely academically. In fact, what this period should mean to you, is that after completion, you will have a clearer idea as to where you would like to direct your future and career.

 

As opposed to the current status quo of volunteer programmes, where you pay to assist the community but receive no accreditation in return, with STUDY AND TRAVEL SOUTH AFRICA, you receive a certificate of course completion and as a by-product, improve your english, as well as participate in a local, uplifting community project.

All courses are presented at South Cape College, (except the English programme) which is an accredited Further Education and Training facility, with its focus on accessing many previously disadvantaged students in the local community. After attending your lectures and passing your exams, a certificate will be issued.

 

There are various study programmes available, namely Business Management, Tourism, English Programmes and the International Computer Driving Licence (ICDL). The detailed list below can be consulted for fees:

Fees are quoted in EUROS, with a non-refundable registration fee of €50.00

FEES FOR ENGLISH PROGRAMMES 2010:
Fees are quoted in EUROS, with a non-refundable registration fee of €40

Tuition will NOT take place on the following days for 2010: 1January, 22 March, 2,5 27 April, 16 June, 9 August, 24 September, 16 December – 2 January 2011. Tuition commences on 3 January 2011.

 

TRAVEL INFORMATION

STUDY AND TRAVEL SOUTH AFRICA will, on request greet and meet you on your arrival at Cape Town International Airport and transfer you to a local Bed and Breakfast (as indicated above).
	Should you require us to arrange your transfer from Cape Town to Oudtshoorn, kindly indicate this on your application form. An additional fee of R will be charged (as indicated above). STUDY AND TRAVEL SOUTH AFRICA have included two tours in the cost of the programme, which will coincide with your college holidays – the dates indicated below are provisional.
